The shop is the manifestation of Ray Champagne’s dream.  Ray and his wife Mary own the shop.

The Champagne’s, originally from Rhode Island, moved to Canton in 1996.  Ray worked in corporate America for 38 years.  Those 38 years, many of which in high-level executive management, provided Ray with an in-depth knowledge of business operations.  A little over 3 years ago Ray decided that it was time for a change.  He was ready to live his dream, and with that, Champagne’s Courtyard Coffee & Ice Cream Shop was born.

Don’t let the name fool you, Champagne's Courtyard Coffee & Ice Cream Shop offers much more than just coffee and ice cream.  The shop offers deli sandwiches, soups, cheesecakes, truffles, and much much more.

The shop’s slogan, “Meet Me At The Courtyard” exemplifies what the shop is all about.  It is a very clean, warm, friendly, and personal shop.  A place where friends are made, relationships are nourished, and good will reigns.  “You can always expect to be greeted with a genuine smile when you come here”, said Ray.  As the name suggest, there is a picturesque courtyard outside of the shop.

Boasting the best sandwiches, coffee, cheesecake, ice cream and soup in Canton, Ray Champagne said, “We use only the highest quality products in our shop, and we buy from local reputable vendors.”

Ray said.  “You can visit us after the movies, before school or work, after the game, while out shopping, or anytime.”
